#297 ICAD... Under The Dome...

With one of our favorite Summer shows coming back on this coming week... I'd make a few shakers...lol Background is the Polished stone technique I learned a long time ago...and then used IO's shaker dome pieces and some washi tape to seal around. And some puffy fish stickers...lol And a few circled punch index card pieces for bubbles...lol

Sending Mail ICAD #292...

I have had this stamp forever... It's a cube stamp. I use it on my pen pal envies and papers. The stamp is from a company that has been out of business for a long while "Embossing Arts"....

I Used my Color Bursts and the rubberstamp.. and my postage frame punch.

Back In The" ICAD" Saddle Again....

ICAD... Back again...

Over on Fb Tammy started the "61 Day Challenge of ICAD's again." I signed up again... This kinda made me start back up again and try to get my ICAD's done for the whole year... I'm on day #284. And to see all the wonderful eye candy over there and inspiration... I am ready to get and continue on with my 365 days ICAD's finished.

So here goes some that I did today and went with the some of the prompts that Tammy puts out there for us all... Maps, Circus...

Day 280 ICAD

Simple saying...

"Welcome Spring"...

I painted Sunflower yellow on the index card... I then took some old stamps that I had (scene stamps) and tried attempt at making a tree and some leaves and birds. "Welcome Spring"... woooo-hoooo

"Hiddin" yes, I know, it's spelled wrong....

I used my embossing folder (Script) and also gesso. Then I used some paint...didn't like that color so I painted purple metallic Stampel 3D (Viva Decor) paint over it. Well, something was lacking. So I grabbed my other Tea Stencil cups and used some spackling paste over the stencil. It was white, so I used some more purple metallic paint over it... and then took my heat tool and heated until it bubbled.... I added more paint on top...and did the same to dry. Next thing I know, it looks like the cups are 3D and are "in" a wall or cave somewhere... hence "Hiddin". It looks really cool in person. :-) They look like artifacts from a long time ago.... :-)

Away... Journey.... I used gesso and then I let it dry, ran it through my vagagbond machine with an embossing folder. I painted the background and used some ink to highlight the embossed areas.

Under the sea....

I used my bubble embossing folder and then used my Dizty Glitz spray Turquoise to give it a blue and shimmer look of water. I used some fun stickers. Then I used my crimper and ran the index card through the crimper.
