I love Fall and the colors. Can't wait for the cooler temperatures too. This summer has been a hot one here in NW Pa. I decided to pull out some glossy cs and alcohol inks and black embossing powder along with Dreamweaver's stencil dies. I love how you can use the negative and also the positive letters. I used the negative part to spell out Fall on the card. Enjoy...
I used some stamps and embossing and also paints and some gold embossing paste on the mail art envy.
"It's Here... It's Here" woooo hooooo!!! I've been Published in the Fall RSM (Rubberstampmadness Issue).. :)
I've been rubberstamping for 33 yrs now...Love it and love using my stamps to create cards, tags, letters for pen pals, checks (yes, I still use checks...lol) using them in my Flipbooks, Pocket Letters... You name...if it moves...Stamp It!!!! lol
Wow, it's been a while since I've posted here to my blog... "Life" happens and takes away from the fun things at times... Grin and bare it eh? lol I made some more postcards. I'm in a swap and have to mail out one a week for 3 weeks. I had a lot of fun creating them. I used a lot of mixed media things and like the way they turned out... I used my tub medium and also distress crayons and also some sprays and perfect pearls and sponges... mixed media...lol
I love the feather stamps I have and used perfect pearls on them with some washi tape... I made this one before, I like it and did another one. :) The other two are using Heidi Swapp's stencils....
"Just be your beautiful self" is what the one says that has the Crazy Bird Stamp on the pc and the other one is "Enjoy The Ride" with the bike.
I used my CrazyBird stamps and also other rubberstamps. Along with my H2O's that I colored my crazy bird in with. I also used sprays and stencil for the background. This is a postcard I made for #LoveNotes swap. This is week # 3 postcard.
I made this card and used Tim Holtz Distress crayons... I didn't need or use anything special. I stamped the globe and embossed in black embossing powder and then used my new distress Crayons. I love the creaminess (is that a word...lol) of them and how they glided over the cs. and then took my water brush and did my thing on the image. Use my framelits that came with the stamp and embossing folder, to cut the globe and frames out. I used the globe embossing folder for the background and then used the Distress Crayons again over the embossed raised areas. Used my framelit airplane and cut out using some washing tape and stamped the plane image on top.
I found that these Distress Crayons a lot lot more easier to use than the Faber-Castell gelatos. :-)
If you love to pen pal or just send some fun mail to a friend...this is for you. Check out YouTube and type in Flipbooks...
I am caught up in them too, and since I love to Pen Pal and write to my pals, I too love to send fun mail for them to enjoy and some goodies for them to use or just say "cute"... Better than those pesky bills in the ole' mail box right?... lol
I used my rubberstamps and also my library die to cut out the library cards. I also used my glassine (sp?) bags for the goodie pouches. I also used my vellum that I have hoarded away... love vellum. The vellum has embedded sparkles in the vellum.
Here goes some looks from the front to the fully opened Flipbook...
