Mail Art "Mixed Media Theme"... =)

Mail Art:

Mixed Media  =)

I made these for a Mail Art Swap... Theme is "Mixed Media".
I used all that I had at home without having to go out and buy anything.  Hey, what we use everyday in our lives... I consider that "Mixed Media"...ggg  ;-)   If you like to know more on how and what I used to create the pieces of my mail art... Go on over to YouTube and type in their search box:  Robin LaVonne Moore  There you will find out in my video what I did to them.  Here goes some pics of the mail art I created...  Love the texture and feel of them.  Feel like leather and roughness....gggg  Hope you like them, leave a comment if you like.  Enjoy your weekend... I know I will... I'm going to my beloved "Stamping Convention"...Adventures in Stamping...  :-)   Bye for now.

My "Spring Grunge Twinchies"

This is for a swap I'm in.  It's been a while since I made them.  I think they turn out pretty neato... lol

Thanks for looking.  :-)

Hope you had a fun Easter!!

I made this Easter Card.  I love this stamp and have had it for years and years.  The stamp is from RubberBabyBuggyBumpers.  The company is no more, but everytime I make this for Easter I think about how many stamp companies from way back when are no longer in business.  It's sad.  I 've been stamping for 31 years now and seen the companies come and go. Hope you enjoy my card :-)

I added GA to the bows and the Happy Easter and colored the hat box in water colors crayons along with Mrs. Rabbit. :-)  The paper background is homemade paper and the brads are from MM.
Thanks for stopping by.

My First "Styrafoam" ATC... Yep Made with Styrafoam.....

I'm in an ATC Swap here on one of the blogs....The them is a "Spring" theme, and I've have been having a ton of fun making them.  This is my 3 set of Atc's for this swap and will be making another 5 atcs for a total of twenty.  I was cleaning my stamps and laying them on a styrafoam plate to drain and dry them.  I looked at the plate when I was drying my stamps off and thought... "*Light bulb Moment*"...ggg  I bet I can use this for my Atc's.  And I did.
I used gesso on the front to give it some tooth, painted and inked and added the embellishments.  What do you think?  Oh, and a tip/hint... If you don't have any shrink plastic and want a cheap way to try some... Well.....drum rollllllllllllllllllll...You can stamp on the styrafoam and ink and etc... then take your Heatgun and zap the styrafoam piece and it will shrink.   I am going to show you that piece in a video that I will be doing later tonight.  ggg
Leave a comment if you like and let me know what you think of the ATC...  Thanks for looking. :-)
