More Postcards made for a Swap..

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted here to my blog... "Life" happens and takes away from the fun things at times...  Grin and bare it eh? lol   I made some more postcards.  I'm in a swap and have to mail out one a week for 3 weeks.  I had a lot of fun creating them.  I used a lot of mixed media things and like the way they turned out... I used my tub medium and also distress crayons and also some sprays and perfect pearls and sponges... mixed media...lol

I love the feather stamps I have and used perfect pearls on them with some washi tape... I made this one before, I like it and did another one. :)  The other two are using Heidi Swapp's stencils....
"Just be your beautiful self" is what the one says that has the Crazy Bird Stamp on the pc and the other one is "Enjoy The Ride" with the bike.

Distress Crayons...

"Distress Crayons"... Love them....

I made this card and used Tim Holtz Distress crayons... I didn't need or use anything special. I stamped the globe and embossed in black embossing powder and then used my new distress Crayons.  I love the creaminess (is that a word...lol) of them and how they glided over the cs. and then took my water brush and did my thing on the image.  Use my framelits that came with the stamp and embossing folder, to cut the globe and frames out. I used the globe embossing folder for the background and then used the Distress Crayons again over the embossed raised areas.  Used my framelit airplane and cut out using some washing tape and stamped the plane image on top. 

I  found that these Distress Crayons a lot lot more easier to use than the Faber-Castell gelatos.  :-)
