Turquoise Pocket Letter for a Pal
Made this for a Plp of mine and she wanted to do a color theme plp. She wanted Turquoise and I wanted Purple (yep, love purple) Not going to send this until August 12th. The background paper is Turquoise and Silver (whole sheet glitter) got the stack at Hobby Lobby. The glitter is solid and will not come off. Love this paper. I think it looks pretty good. I used everything here in my stash the is Turquoise and similar to that color. I used my 123 Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers to make the bow. I attached the bow with a pearl turquoise brad. Hope she like it.
The back of the plp in the bottom left hand corner isn't from a die, rather than from using my Sizzix Eclips machine. (Same kind of electric machines as the other brands out there on the market)

My Fused Shaker ....
"Fused Shaker made with We R Memory Keepers "Fuse Tool"..... wooooo hoooo...
I used one of my ole' rubberstamps- Zip Lock baggie and some flower stamps. I gold embossed the Zip Lock baggie rs and used some of my Color Bursts for the flower background and then gold embossed the top of the flowers with the outline stamp.
Then I found my old ruler (for scrapbooking) and it has the double edge, remember how you could hold the edge of the paper and tear to get the look of this ruler... :D anywho... This is how I got my edge all the way around the shaker with the fuse tool and ruler. I think it turned out pretty neeto...lol
Comment if you like. Have a good one. :-)

Don't Have A Laser Printer To Foil With?
Well, I played with the "Toner Powder" and some old foil that I've had for a long time. Right now all the rage besides Pocket Letter Pals (Plp) is "Gold & Foiling".
I don't have a Laser Printer which seems to be needed to have the Foil stick to after you print something from the laser. Not sure how much it would cost each time I wanted something printed to use the foil that everyone seems to be playing with.
I went on over to YouTube, where you can find anything or everything to learn or try or get great ideas.... Which I did, I typed in Foiling and let the videos play one right after another, while I listen while I was probably making Pocket letters in my craft area.. I heard this women talk about "Toner Powder" and how it's used for "Laser Printers". I got up and went into the living room and looked at the tv screen and proceeded to watch the video. Video down below, (posted yesterday 7/20/15). Well, I had bought the Toner Powder a few weeks ago and didn't really play. So I did last night, and here is the outcome. Remember I used my old foil stuff that I've had for years.... "What's Old Is New Again" right? I still even have my old old Foiling Hot Pen from way back when. lol Remember Hero Arts sold their foil square sheets and also another company sold the on tiny cardbaord rolls and I have that very needle thin point for the glue for the foil...lolroflmao.. Anywho... These are the results,it's hard to tell on this scan, but the foil is there and the Toner Powder worked. I probably just need to buy some of that new foil that's out there. I hear the buzz word "Transfer Foil" too. What do you think?

Heidi Swapp Minc Machine - Foiling A Stamped Image
She is using "Toner Powder" for those like me who don't have a Laser Printer... This works great. I bought some Toner Powder and have been playing with it and have a few samples that I will post later on. This is brilliant. Now all of us Ink Jet User don't have to be left out in the "foiling fad"...lol

I made this for a good pen pal of mine... I wonder if she will notice I didn't use any rubberstamps in this pocket letter...lol
I used rub ons and also my Eclips machine to make the donuts and used liquid pearls and glitter for on top of the donuts.
And the card on the back with the m and m's says "Stay Calm & Eat Sweets"...lol

"No Goodie Pocket Letter"
"No Goodie Pocket Letter"
Over on fb plp group there was a girl who suggested a No Goodie Pocket letter and to focus more on the Letter of the Pocket Letter. To include questions, if you wanted answer them and include a letter. This was fun and don't worrying about "oh what to stick in the back or front of the pockets". After all, it's the letter and info from a person that is really fun to learn about, not what's inside or in the back of the pockets.
Here is what I came up with... I used my Tim Holtz "Alpha Dies" for the numbers and also used the SU Scalloped envy die, which is perfect for these pockets. I also used a Sizzix square envy die to and included in those some stamped images, just little flat things. (force of habit, I like to include little goodies, but refrain from putting "bulky" goodies in...lol) I typed out the questions on the back of the cards. I then answered the questions and stuck those answers in the scalloped envies. I also enclosed a letter for more "tid bits about me"...lol I hope she enjoys my questions and hope to hear back with her answers.
Front and back of the "No Goodie" Pocket Letter...
The little Library envies are from a punch. "Q & A" pockets, I just stuck in little tickets.
