I used my silka paints in the background and then used my dollar alpha stamps along with this stamp and the the other clear stamp which right now can't think of the company name.

Day 113... ICAD...

Friends and family ask... why ICAD... For my answer is... Why not... You can get cheap index cards at the dollar store and just have fun, I figure if I'm at least creating and using my stamps that I have accumulated over 31 yrs of stamping, they aren't going to waste.... And creating something no matter how small or large, it takes my mind off of things and helps destress... I love this quote from Twyla Tharp....

Made this with a stamp and acetate and alcohol inks for the background. The square sticker says "Life Is A Journey". Stamped background flowers and some flower washi tape around the index card.

Altered "Fall Leaves CD"
Fall Theme "Altered CD"....
I used an old CD and some of my Alcohol inks and my hot pot and also some rubber stamp leaves and a pretty sparkly embossing powder. Used alcohol inks in the background, and then used my Scrabble tile letters to spell out "Fall Leaves" and then took my leaf punch and punched out the leaves and then alcohol themed and then dipped them in the UTEE. Then stamped embossed the leaves stamp in the pretty sparkly embossing powder. I love the colors and how it looks like Fall. It feels like Fall now here in NW PA.

Day 102 ICAD... Pen Pals...
Day 102 ICAD...
I love to Pen Pal and love all that comes with it... Pink Paislee has this collection called "Pen Pals", I bought the big paper pad that has 12 designs with 48 sheets (12 x 12 sheets) and also the Pen Pal Ephemera package along with the cute Rubberstamp set that includes a "die of a typewriter" to match the stamp. Here I used some of the stamps that came in the set, I love the #tag stamp, you can fill it in with the little wordings that also came with the set. Ex...I stamped the #tag and then stamped Surprise inside the #tag stamp... I can see a lot more uses with this...lol

Day 101 ICAD (Index Card A Day) ...
I made this with my Rainbow Sponge and Caribbean Ink Colors from Posh Impressions... (Dee's company isn't in business) These are from yrs and yrs ago and I found them in my dusty things that I've haven't used in ages... lol
The Stamp from Posh Impressions is the "newpaper" stamp... I stamped in white and used white embossing powder. I love the background look and the colors I used.

Oh my, I've been slacking in posting my ICAD's. I think I'm running outta steam on coming up on some ideas as well. I need to start throwing some paints and rubs out on the ole' creative table and see what I can come up with here in a few days. Anywho... I can't believe that I'm on day 100 already... here are days 95-97 and the others are coming right after. Thanks for taking this ICAD journey with me so far... 100 days done and 265 days to go...lol

Basket and where I got it...how I made it...
Hi Everyone,
I got a few emails asking me how did I make my basket for the "Harvest/Canning" notecards and also made an ICAD out of it back in August on the 25th Day 68. I bought this die a long time ago, it was in the clearance basket at Joanns ETC store...
Here is what it looks like:
The die is from Quick Kutz. I love how I was able to use Strawberries and stick inside the basket. You could stick anything in that ole basket. :)
