My "Arty Slides" "Sliding into Sept"...
Hi Everyone,
Here goes my Arty Slides I made for the swap... "Sliding Into Sept" What it means to me...
The first one, I used my Color wash paints from Creative Mode (stamping vendor no longer) I used the copper and then used the Color wash metallic (white) on top. Stamped leave images all around the front of the slide. Sept. means to me... leaves changing and the colors and all that beauty. The second slide is Halloween Theme (another thought of Autumn) I used my Sizzix Eclips machine, and made the Trick or Treat in a size 1 inch to fit inside the slide window. I love the little candy corn and also the spider that is hanging from the "K"... lol
The back of the slides... The first one is the dusk sun and the leaves on the trees. And the then the second one the spider on the back. I love this time of year and enjoy the colors and beauty of it all.
Thanks for looking and you each will receive them soon.

The Weight Loss... Yippie Skippie
Everyone was asking me about my weight loss. I had my Gastric Bypass done in January 10,2013 and had my before picture taken at the doctor's office....
I feel so good and have so mucccccccccccchhhhhhhhh Energy. It was so much fun to go do a little shopping, I needed some new clothes, my fat clothes were just hanging on me and looked terrible. When I was trying on clothes, it was funny... I headed for the big girl fat clothes and not even thinking to head over to the skinny smaller size clothes...lol hubby laughed his ass off.
This week, I'm going to go and shop for a dress, hubby's nephew is getting married... It's been about as long as I've been married (30 yrs) since I've bought a new dress or even tried on one... this will be a fun experience. Hubby's nephew fiancee said to me "That's what makes shopping fun, when your skinny, to be able to try on so many fun clothes and feel good about it". I am planning on going into Victoria Secrets... I'm going to see how it feels to wear and try on some really Lacey frilly things...lol
It's not even been a year yet, and I'm down to my goal. Maybe I can even get down to 145 lbs by the end of the year.
Thank you all for the encouragement and sharing this journey with me ... And Thanks to my hubby and sons for their support and much encouragement too. I love you all.

Now here is a picture of me now..8 months after...
I now weight is 152 lbs. The jeans I have on are a size 16 and I can pull them down without unbuttoning the button and not even pull down the zipper. I know TMI...lol I can even get into a smaller size jean. My shirt is a large, I was never able to get into that size 8 months ago, let alone even look at a small shirt...lol I feel so good and have so mucccccccccccchhhhhhhhh Energy. Here is the second card I made for the "Caffeinated Fun" Swap that I am in. I used the same embossing powder and DCWV cs. This is a tri-fold card, each panel on the left and right have DCWV cs on them with the scalloped punch center as well, I punched the scalloped punch in the center and made a scalloped frame on top, and then punched a scalloped oval on the inside and stamp the tea cup. This way when you swing the right side closed, the tea cup will show through the center frame. Hope that made sense.
The saying on the card that is embossed says "You're Tea-riffic".
Hope you enjoy, please leave a comment if you like and thanks a bunch for looking.

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share what all I've been working on... I joined a few swaps over at SCS...I love Tea and related items to Tea. So I signed up for this swap. I am making two different sets. The swap theme is: "Caffeinated Fun".
I stamped this tea pot in truffle pigment ink. And then sprinkled "Peacock" embossing powder, this powder has hints of fine glitter and changes colors while being heat embossed. Tilt the card a certain way and you will see different colors on the tea pot. The background paper is DCWV and I added some bling along with a flower. I also used some pop dots on the back of the scalloped oval to raise it off the cs. Leave a comment if you like. Thanks for looking.
